Hello Grads,
Just a reminder that our PACI Grad Bottle Drive is happening this Thursday from 3:00–7:00 PM!
We will be sending out two groups of students to help collect bottles around the community:
Group 1: 3:00–3:45 PM (travelling by bus with Mr. Holmen)
Group 2: 4:00–6:00 PM
We are also asking all PACI Grad families to support our fundraiser by bringing their bottles and cans directly to PACI between 4:00–6:00 PM on Thursday May 21/2026.
If you or your family members are available to help, we would greatly appreciate volunteers to assist with:
· Sorting bottles and cans
· Bagging recyclables
· General clean-up and organization
· Students that are collecting bottles should wear PACI clothing (if they have any)
Thank you to everyone for supporting the Grad Fundraising Committee. Every bottle helps make graduation events and activities possible for the Class of 2026!

We are excited to inform you of our upcoming Awards Night on June 18 at 6:00 PM
as we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our students.
Please note that this event is for Grades 9–11 students only, as Grade 12 students will
receive their awards during Graduation ceremonies.
During the evening, we will recognize students who have demonstrated success in a variety of ways, including:
Grade 10 and 11 students who have successfully completed the required number of credits for their grade level.
Grade 9 students who have shown strong attendance, consistent effort, and a commitment to their learning.
In addition, several special awards will be presented in each grade level to students who have demonstrated:
Outstanding effort and determination
The Spirit of PACI
Excellence beyond the core subjects
Academic Achievement Award (core subjects)
Families are asked to watch for an email or phone call from the school in early June
if their student has been selected to receive an award.
We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our students with you and your family.

an evening of dance, music, and community in support of the PACI Dance Program. Featuring performances from our dancers, guests from Performing Arts Warehouse and Birch Hills Dance Centre, professional singer/songwriter Harrison Hall, and a silent auction, this night is all about celebrating and supporting opportunities for Prince Albert Collegiate dancers!
Join us on Friday, May 29th for More Than a Room:

We are excited to announce an upcoming Bottle Rocket Competition for students!
This hands-on challenge will give students the opportunity to apply creativity, problem-solving, and science
concepts as they design, build, and launch their own bottle rockets.
Important dates:
Wed, May 13 – Fri, May 15:
Students will present their rocket designs
May 20: Construction day
May 22: Launch day competition
All rocket designs must be approved by Mrs. Splawinski before students can begin construction.
Most materials will be provided by the school. However, if students have a very specific design in mind
that requires a particular item—such as a certain type or size of bottle—they may be asked to bring that item from home.
To make things even more exciting, there will be a big prize for the winning rocket, so students are encouraged to
bring their best ideas.
We’re looking forward to seeing students’ creativity take flight and having an exciting launch day!
